I'm running an anonymous Valentines thing for my fandom, and I didn't give myself one, because I felt like that would be cheating, but I woke up to a Valentines anyway! (I mean, I hope that they didn't accidentally think I was their Valentine, meaning that someone out there isn't getting one, but it still made me smile!)

Also... I'm writing a fanfic for a specific fandom, and one of the people in the fandom reblogged it. So yeah. That was a thing that happened.

I finished a homework assignment and it was easier than I thought it would be.

I gotten like three compliments on this icon and that makes me pretty happy! :D

I went and saw Frozen with my 3 year old sister today, and she was so cuddly and twice said she wanted to come over to my flat and watch more Disney movies with me, and I think it's so sweet that she wants to be with me more and be "proper" sisters*, despite there being a nearly 17 year age difference between us.

*I most likely will become more of an aunt figure or something to her, so I think it's really nice that she is conscious about the fact that we are sisters and wanting to spend time with me as such. :')

I fell down a flight of stairs yesterday. My knee and shin are all bruised up but don't hurt, my hip is unblemished but is incredibly painful.

Glad you're okay! I hurt my hip once... I don't think it was bruised either actually, it just hurt. A lot.

The new JKR drama made me realize some of my friends and I are probably going to find reasons to talk about our old fandoms when we're IMing each other from our nursing homes.

I'm almost done with the bisexual pride colors scarf I've been working on lately and it's coming out really pretty!

I want to do more. Really I just like to have a knitting project going at any given time. Maybe I should open up a shop on Tumblr or something!

The magenta on my scarf is a little more wine-colored than hot pink though.

There are a lot of different pride flags for various sexualities and gender identities.

A Cooper's hawk has started coming around the backyard and watching the bird feeder, and I'm really annoyed about it. I don't really care if the hawk eats a mourning dove now and then, but if he scares the birds away, that is a problem.

The choir I'm in is going to be doing "Eatnemen Vuelie" at the spring concert. Today the director announced that we're going to be doing some "choralography" (her word) for this song that involves jazz hands, and also some marching with high knees and hands on hips.

I wanted to drop through the floor with embarrassment as she demonstrated.
