How to explain this? I love when there's a villain with, like, pheromone powers or something and they make EVERYONE love them except for one person who is like 'Can you not see that this person isn't legit????' Love it. Especially when it's not related to sex- like, the villain makes girls and guys love them and the person who suspects them is the opposite sex. Otherwise, it comes off a little bit like 'Ofc the girl wouldn't be affected by the villainess' powers, she's a girl and naturally competitive and shit'

This seems totally confusing but it's like that episode of Farscape where the lady comes in, seducing everyone with her magic powers and Aeryn Sun is like, 'Yea no, you're a trickster.'
