- ACCIDENTAL MARRIAGE. Especially if it's got something to do with cultural norms - like, you visit an alien planet, you shake hands with the aliens' ambassador/representative, WHOOPS IN THE ALIENS' CULTURE THAT'S A PROPOSAL and you can't back out or you'll cause a war or something. Both people in the marriage trying to figure out how to make it work, even just as a business partnership or friendship, and being really respectful of each other and then slowly falling for each other but both thinking that the other only wants to keep things platonic and that falling in love with their spouse will only cause problems and it all eventually coming out in a huge messy emotion explosion (that ends in sex or cuddles at least).

- Human character gets bodyswapped with/transformed into something non-human, with non-human physical needs and instincts, and angsts it up over not being able to resist or control their new body's needs

- Corrupted heroes
