Only... I have come to dislike when a soulbond influences the bonded couple to fall in love. I like the idea of a romantic couple having one, I just don't like it if the bond forces them to love each other - it just makes it feel very dub-con.
I know I got yelled at recently for constantly talking about my RP, but the fic it is based on has a soulbond between the two main characters (Boromir and Kili) and their relationship in the fic is friendship.
My RP has it turning romantic, but it's not the soulbond that makes them fall in love. The soulbond just kinda adds spice in that they can share their feelings on a telepathic level.
