Cannon Beach! I live about an hour's drive from there. It's an amazing day trip.

...It's SO not a ten minute bike ride from Astoria, though. :P

*sighs* I wish I lived close enough to that beach to do the same. Hell I wish I lived close to an actual ocean beach period. Lakeside beaches just aren't the same when you've lived close to the Pacific your whole life and then suddenly become land locked.
