OP this was my favourite show and that of my friends from our early 30s, most approaching 50 by now, because it's been going nearly 20 years so I don't think it's only for the over 50s!!

I don't watch much now, I was too devoted to John Nettles and family, haven't been able to get into the new cast. I might give it a go again..
