Maybe because in that one little scene, he was finally a scary vampire. Rather than the washcloth dull vampire that he had been up to that point. For some, scary can translate into being sexy.

I blame Aidan Turner, although I found him much sexier when he was being his usual self. But still, despite him doing these horrible things, he was the one I sympathized with the most...

I've spent a ridiculous amount of me-time imagine the missing scene between him and Daisy afterwards, and I don't even like vampires. Any vampires, really.

I don't know what it is. Mitchell looks like he hasn't had a bath since Elvis died, and I still hit it like machine gun fire. Smeared with blood head to toe? Even better. Aidan Turner being his own cute, clean and sunshiny self? Meh.

This made me remember how much I liked that show & now I kind of wish I'd stuck with it. I liked Mitchell & especially Annie, but I couldn't get past the point where they started in with all the explicit sex between the werewolf & his gf. Having grown up in a part of the US where the local station censors the cartoon butts on Family Guy, that was a little beyond my comfort zone.

Heh. The werewolf sex was my favourite. It was the shmoopy ghost/vampire romance I couldn't deal with, as far as romantic plots go anyway.

That was also the moment when I was finally okay with the recasting from the pilot. Because while I adored Guy Flanagan as Mitchell, I could not see him doing that scene and being as amazing.
