sooo apparently there was this giant fic called 'Freeze Burn Tokyo', and the author has said before that they were going to retire from fandom once the fic finished...but just recently and without warning they deleted all their works, including the aforementioned fic.

This is secondhand info (clearly): my friend was sadly telling me how the fics got deleted and she hadn't saved it, or at least hadn't saved the last 5 chapters or so. Does anyone know where she could find this fic? She doesn't really have fandom friends, she just reads fic, so I think she doesn't know where to ask.

I wish I could help, but I've never heard of the fic in question. If it was posted on ff.net then they could always send a pm to the author and ask for a copy. Ff.net doesn't allow for account deletion so if your friend still has the author's username or a link to the profile page they should give it a shot.

I just found out today that 'Freeze Burn Tokyo' and all the side fics were deleted :( and I'm super sad about it. Unfortunately I can't help your friend but I was hoping your friend could help me. I didn't have any of it saved and I was hoping that your friend would be able to get in contact with me and possibly send me what she has saved along with any other side fics. I haven't been able to find the fic anywhere else and I'd really appreciate the help.
