eta: Admittedly I'm in no position to be debating math but it doesn't seem like that post addresses it proportionally, the author's note says as much? Plus they say
"But if the numbers tell us anything it’s that, across the board, there are more men on this set than women." ... "So six men, in the scheme of things, don’t really make a blip in the gender ratio we see. Six women, on the other hand? The show’s become a sausage fest."
If more men die but are so better represented as to still outnumber women greatly, deaths included, then isn't it still kind of a valid complaint that women are more likely to get the axe?
