Related: There's a phenomenon I've noticed where people will latch onto this one actress and rave about how PERFECT and FLAWLESS she is and reblog a billion pics on her on tumblr, until the next PERFECT FLAWLESS LADY comes along. And if the actress isn't white, they'll rant about how she's such a PERFECT FLAWLESS WOC OMG, and you get the impression they don't actually think she's a good actress or an interesting person, but they're gushing over her just because she's a WOC who happens to be in a Show That Is Currently Trendy on Tumblr. (Lucy Liu seems to be a common victim of this.)

They do this with guys too.
