I totally hear you, anon. I've had to do similar things in my line of work; helping out with stuff that kind of makes my skin crawl.

That said, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I genuinely admire your professional integrity in not changing the content, however creepy it may be. Your job is to render the most faithful possible version of the original, and it sounds like you take that seriously. I just wish, for your sake, that you had better stuff to work on.
