I don't have them often but at this point I think it's close to crossing into recurring dream territory and I was just curious if anyone else has dreams like this?

I don't think I have?

I have a ton of dreams where I'm different characters, and sometimes those are dude characters, so I guess yes? But if you mean where I am just a dude version of myself, I think I've only had one of those.

Yes. I had a dream once where I was a guy (I am not) and I clearly remember masturbating. It was awesome.

Yes. Frequently. Usually sex dreams.

Am I the only one who's always genderless in my dreams? It's weird. I mean, it makes sense when I'm a toaster, but when I'm human, not so much.

I think I dreamed I had penis one time but I don't think I was a guy.

Yes. And it's always weirdly casual, rarely sexual. Once I was masturbating but that was somehow not a sexual dream. Another time I was just taking a piss and thinking "Huh, this is different." Sometimes I'm just getting dressed and look down and notice the different genitals and think something's off, then I wake up. I have them maybe a couple times a year?

I've dreamt I had a penis a few times.

I used to dream only from a guy's perspective when I was younger, but now it's more balanced. Not sure why.

I'm female bodied and will sometimes have dreams where I have a penis. I always wake up really sad after those dreams. It's the reason why I questioned whether I was trans or not for a long while. Or at least one of the reasons.

Not like commonly or anything, but I've had them a few times.

Including one in which I underwent surgery in my real life.

...Oddly enough, I don't think so? Not any that I remember, anyway. (Which seems a lot weirder to me than having those dreams in the first place.)

Yep. And it usually a minor detail that doesn't matter in the rest of the dream.

Sadly no. It would be better than the constant nightmares about getting my period in incredibly inconvenient situations.

Yup. Not super-often, but an average of 4 or 5 times a year for the past decade, as I recall.

Although the past 3 or 4 sex dreams I've had have *all* involved me having a dick. I don't have sex dreams terribly often, so it's fairly notable.

I don't think so, I certainly don't notice my gender in my dreams unless it's particularly vivid and then I think I'm mostly female? Maybe, I'm still unsure.

Once or twice? But I've also dreamed of being a four-armed monkey at roughly the same amount so I don't put much stock in it.

Sure, but I'm a trans man. The only dreams that freak me out are the ones where I'm female.

I have, but honestly I was more worried about the 'wading through a lake of blood that appeared outside my front door' part than I was about the fact that I happened to be male at the time.

That's the only one I really remember. I sometimes have dreams where I'm a man but I'm not me, I'm the character in the dream. I'm not sure if that's quite the same thing.

Yeah. I've had dreams like that. It's just a dream where I'm not myself but, say, a banker or something.

yes, I think it's pretty normal. Most notably, I once dreamed I was Buffy and Spike and I were escaping the bad guys :D
