Ren and Stimpy was a fucked up show. Especially when you rewatch it as an adult.

I was an adult when it came out. We were pretty amazed at what John K got away with, for the most part.

Another really wild one I used to watch was The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse (came out in the 80's, didn't even last a season). My then-boyfriend got me into watching it, and when I first saw Ren and Stimpy, I said, "Hey, this is what Mighty Mouse was supposed to be!" New Adventures was pretty out there. I always figured it was cancelled because one of the episodes had Might Mouse snorting flowers like they were cocaine.

...and, checking Wiki, I'm right.
