That's exactly how I feel about it. I'm all about characters.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who liked it! I can put up with a lot if I dig the characters; not so much if I like the story but despise or don't care about the characters.

Hell, sometimes I love the characters but get frustrated at the way the show is progressing and drop it anyway, but it doesn't happen often because I have to be EXTREMELY disappointed.

Yeah, that's me. I think it takes me a really long time to notice when a show's writing goes downhill if I like the characters. And I pretty much never drop a show unless the cast changes in a way I don't like (see Lost).
