8. Agreed, so hard. I can sort of get why it was so short, though. A lot of the longer series have 23948273 characters to focus on, while there's pretty much just four or five in YnM.

16. I'm not trying to speak for all RPer-couples, but it's just the idea, you know? It feels so romantic, because the characters you roleplay are often so much more interesting and awesome than you think you are, and when OTPs are involved it's incredibly easy to pass their situations on to yourself and your RP partner. And for some people (myself included, to a point), roleplaying is their entire world, a sort of fantasy or a dream they live in to escape from a RL that might be miserable or just plain boring.

It's not an easy thing to understand unless you've been there. Sort of like how "normal" people who define their internet lives by Facebook, more or less, don't understand how fandomers can love a series so much that they go so far as writing fic and drawing art, among other things.

Short is OK! I certainly don't want YnM to drag on like a shounen manga... but at least finish the backstory on the second half of the main four characters Tatsumi, Watari ftw!...

After that, then we can speculate more! :D

I never got the impression that YnM was intended as a short story? It's been left unfinished for years now, but 12 volumes isn't a short manga, really, and it's not as though that's where Matsushita was planning to end it.

This is true! You'll have to excuse my questionable use of the word 'short' there; I'm used to the 30+ volumes of Bleach and Naruto and Prince of Tennis, so uh, in comparison YnM's short, but... it's more that the above are crazass long, probably. XD
