I'm big on 90s rock, so pretty much all my favorite music is more than 20 years old.

Also, I miss fansites. They were so fun to look at and so lovingly made and home to so many interesting little essay things that were full of analysis and speculation that had shit-all to do with politics or ~social issues~ and everything to do with, you know, the actual setting and characters.

THIIISSS. So much this. Sometimes, I feel like fandom's suffered a sea change, and I keep hoping that one day it'll go back. Probably won't, though.

My sis figures that fan culture has almost gone mainstream, which has kind of killed the community sense and feel of it.

tl;dr - I miss the meta so much.
