Yes, do! The 'City Watch' books are the best, in my mind. There are, in order: Guards! Guards!, Men at Arms, Feet of Clay, Jingo, The Fifth Elephant, Night Watch, Thud! and Snuff.

You don't have to read the other Discworld books to 'get' these.
