Amen. I more bro-ship it than ship it, but that whole series was AMAZING and it showed why Bruce and Clark complement each other so well.

I have wished for years for a proper Batman/Superman movie. the 'vs' in the title of the upcoming one makes me extremely nervous and I am working hard to lower my expectations.

Yes, the Superman/Batman series was great! Still one of my favourites to this day. I actually started shipping Clark/Bruce from the Justice League cartoon (where they also have tons of shippy moments), but that series is one of the best tributes to the friendship between the two of them.

It's also always amused me how Bruce has kind of functions as a 'male Lois' in Clark's life, which is another thing I just love about their relationship.

I've also wished since ever for a proper Superman/Batman movie. And I am honestly not looking forward to the Man of Steel sequel. My expectations are so low I'm not sure I even have any left. Everything I've heard about it sounds like they're going for a ridiculous Dark Knight Returns-inspired alpha male stand-off.
