...Nakamura has so many BETTER characters who aren't rapists, though. Why does everyone always pick the characters whose partners have seemed to genuinely want sex with them once every 10 times they have sex?

FFS even Yokozawa clearly wants Kirishima's D, and he's in the running with Hiroki for tsundere-est tsundere.

People like tsunderes? Evangelion "ASUKA OR REI" fandom wars come to mind.

I for one like everyone in the two series, though, including female characters like Kaoruko, Aikawa or An-chan, and I'm rooting for Ijuuin-sensei and Yanase to hook up and for Haitani to be the push that kicks Ritsu into dere-dere some.

The whole point of tsunderes, though, is that they aren't being honest with what they say when they're in tsun-tsun mode, the readers know it, the characters know it, my senile old mother knows it so I wouldn't really call Nakamura's characters rapists. Definitely not Takano, he understands Ritsu better than Ritsu understands himself. Usami's story did begin with molestation, but nothing really started until the end of chapter 1, and anything from there is normal tsundere sex. Misaki was actually pretty pissed off (pissed off, not traumatized) at Usami at first, but for his brother's sake he chose to endure staying with him as he says on page 26. Now that may seem like a bad choice but Misaki is a fictional adult of sound mind and body, it's his right to make all the apparently bad choices he likes, especially since the manga's shown they've turned out to be quite good. Please do not assume that by this I think real people who have been molested shouldn't denounce their assaulters, I can say Misaki and Ritsu's "no" are actually "yes" because I can see their whole thoughts and life unfold through the volumes, unfortunately I lack mind-reading powers so I can't do that with real people and it's not my habit to presume someone is lying when they make an accusation of crime.

Ah, I forgot: Takano likely doesn't have mind-reading powers either, but he does detect when Ritsu isn't being honest about his feelings. Comes with being paired with a tsundere I guess, but it doesn't really make you a rapist.

>rapists
Hmm, I love the smell of trivialization in the morning.

Ricchan is a tsundere too.

As if Ritsu and Misaki don't want the D from their partners... it's pretty clear that's not true.
