The post-war fics or ones that take place during the war are what make me appreciate the ship (H/D) the most. War changes people, and while Draco was a coward as much as a bully--I like seeing darker war/post-war fics do something with him.

Equally, I love fics where extraordinary circumstances change their relationship and they still have to deal with the fallout.

JKR's comments notwithstanding, I saw R/Herm coming a mile away and it made all the sense in the world.

I prefer the schooldays. I want to see it explored how it'd work out there and what would be the point that Draco gets turned around.
