haaaaa Raichu is my internet name. so that sounds weird to me XD but trying to be objective, it's cute! Pikachu is way more iconic, so people might think Raichu was an afterthought. Pichu also works if you wanted to stick with the theme.

When I was in elementary school we did a class project raising a couple of lab rats on alternate diets. Their names were Snickers and Skittles which I think are super cute and go together well. (The other option was Pinky and the Brain, which was awesome but not particularly creative.)
