To hit on YA fantasy with a sense of humor and lesbians, check out The Stepsister Scheme by Jim C. Hines. Basically, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella are the Charlie's Angels of a fantasy kingdom. It's pretty awesome. Stepsister Scheme is the first book, there's 4 total in the series.

Steampunk rec: The Parasol Protectorate series by Gail Carriger. It's steampunk comedy of manners, but with werewolves and vampires making up London society. The first book is called Soulless.

I love Hines' work, even if Snow Queen's Shadow did tear out my heart and stomp on it. His Magic Ex Libris series is shaping up to be pretty good, too. And after I finish Codex Born, I'm going to start on Changeless.
