I really hate when you have a roll of paper towels, or toilet paper, and someone tears off a bit and leaves the edge ragged. There's a perforation! Take that weird little triangular leftover off of there!

I also have to get all the bits left behind when you tear a page out of a spiral notebook.

A friend of mine and i had a running (friendly) battle one night at a 'Joe's Crab Shack'. He noticed that i had to tear the little extra bit off of the roll of towels on the table. He got a new towel so that there was little extra bit left, i tore it off, he got a new towel....

He thought it was hilarious. I pelted him with crab shell debris.

OMG I hate these! I never understand how people can stand just ripping pages out of a notebook...especially when the page is perforated! >.

Yes! Dear gods. All the raggedy little bits.....

I like the way pulling a page off the spiral feels! So satisfying and tickly and... Wiggly?

...And then I tear the holey edge off along the perforations. 'Cause actually using it like that is just wrong.

...You and I would get along. I also can't stand it when someone loads the toilet paper wrong. Dear lord, the flap is supposed to be on the outside of the roll, not the underside.

THIS THIS THIS THIS. Holy gods.

I had a time in my teens when I wanted to be contrary and put new rolls on with the loose end under, but I heard a good reason for having it over - if you go to the toilet in the middle of the night, you are not scrabbling to find the loose flap if it's on the outside.

Simple functional logic made me change.
