Was just talking to my brother. Apparently, he thinks we all had a massively horrible childhood. Now granted, I know there were problems (our parents + stepmom weren't always the best at communication or making decisions or organization) but I'd always thought we were happy, and I thought HE was happy, and ... now he's telling me all this stuff about how miserable he's always been, and how fake his relationship to the parents are, and what mindgames he thinks everyone was playing and ... I don't know what to think anymore.

:(

He's older than me, so maybe I just completely ... missed conflicts? But some of this stuff he's talking about is from the last few years, and I'm torn between having to accept that he's making this up for some bizarre reason or that I really just am this terribly unperceptive or naive.
