Well, if it was an old straight man who said it, that would be skeevy, right? So, same for an old lesbian woman. IMO, at least.

Joking aside, normally I would agree with you on this. I hate it when people dismiss the abuse the goes on in the lesbian/bi-female community. But as a lesbian, I find the "gay panic" tone of your original comment to be off-putting at best. And as someone who has actually been on the receiving end of sexual harassment from other women (which is irrelevant to orientation, btw), believe me when I say that this particular instance really really wasn't that. It was just, like the title says, a weird compliment.
