Re: How to make friends on tumblr

I've met some cool people from sharing tumblrs on threads! Followed them, then comment on their posts. Sometimes I send them asks about something they shared like asking them where they got the new shoes, etc.

As for more fandom-related things, you can make posts/ask people about new things that come out. If you do fanart/fic, ask them if they have any ideas or make a post asking for suggestions.
I understand though, op. I have no idea how the people make close friends on tumblr if they're not a BNF, especially with tumblr's awkward communication.
I have a feeling, though, they use other sites or Skype to talk somewhere else more easily than tumblr.
