Re: Kurt/Blaine?

It's kind of funny to me how CC's growth spurt flummoxed the Klaine fandom for a while. I remember back at the beginning, there were a lot of fics with classic seme/uke dynamics with Kurt as the weepy bottom. But then suddenly Kurt got taller, and then it was like... "hoshit, now who bottoms? Kurt's taller but Blaine's more traditionally masculine!"

I think I read more bottom!Blaine now, and more fics where Kurt is exclusively a top, but I think in general the fandom has got out of the rut of thinking that sex positions determine relationship dynamics, or even that penetrative sex is the be-all and end-all at all, tbh.

the ridiculous thing is that he was always taller, he just looked younger in the face and they were rarely shot standing next to each other in the early episodes.

I don't think he was taller in the very beginning.

He just had quite an epic growth spurt. Which is, you know, normal at that age. But we're so used to teens being played by twenty-somethings people get surprised if they actually do teen things - like growing.
