I mean, this could be true depending on the job -- if the character's job is her passion and raison d'etre, then yeah, I 100% agree with you. But for normal, everyday jobs, I hardly think "love is as/more fulfilling than a successful career" is setting a bad example. Not for men OR women.
I do see where you're coming from though, given the pool of available examples in the media.
