Calling all first-generation Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans...

How do you feel about the show now, after it's been off the air for 10 years?

I was really obsessed with it in 8th grade and now I don't remember a lot of stuff and I don't feel like re-watching it. But I will always look back on that time fondly.

I still like the first three seasons and rewatch them sometimes. The rest I have ignored.

I still enjoy it. I've been re-watching as it airs on Pivot (I think that's the right channel) It's nowhere near as emotional or OMG PERFECT but it's still fun and I like it.

I look back fondly at it, but I don't have a real need to rewatch it. Mostly because I want to keep the memories and I am scared it will not hold up to that...

Still love it. (Except for that sixth season. Nope. And, yes, I am one of those rare, rare birds who did not like "Once more with Feeling.")

I tried to watch it again recently and started cringing at the acting, but I still love the idea, and the characters. I may try again with season one and work my way up to season four, but I don't really want to see anything beyond that.

I feel a lot better about Buffy the character rhan I did when I was youmger but the Willow hate grew and stretched all the way back to the beginning on a rewatch a few years ago.

The Whedon fanbase, post-Firefly, has made me wish more and more with every passing day that it had been cancelled after four episodes just to prevent the Whedonbase ever forming.

Also I'd like SJWs (which is mostly a post-Twilight reaction) to just shut up about Spike and Angel. Basically the fans of it have ruined any chance of gleaning enjoyment from it.

The Xander getting turned into Power Girl fanfics (yeah, that is apparently a Buffy fanfic trope) is kinda fun in an OMG just what did I read kinda way though. But not enough to overcome the bad taste the Whedon fandom has schmeered over everything else attached to the show.

I was a little on the old side when it was airing, and the older I get and the further removed from high school/college, the less it appeals to me. There's still some nostalgia and character love, though, and certain episodes, scenes and lines will never completely lose their shine.

I still love it and watch it. But I was already an adult when it started, so maybe that makes a difference in how I approached it then.

I still love it. There was a marathon on today and I watched a few episodes while doing stuff around the house. I did a full rewatch last year for the ten year anniversary of it going off air and I still loved the same characters and story arcs and disliked the same ones as I did when it first aired. I'm more forgiving of some episodes and some of the things some characters did, but not as much as I think I should be.

Still love it. Hard.
