Honestly, I think part of the problem with Shakespeare is, well, he wrote plays. They're meant to be WATCHED, not read. I'm not saying they shouldn't be considered great literature or whatever, but there's a lot that gets lost when you're reading something that wasn't originally meant to be read. Like, when you're watching a play, even if you find the language hard to understand, you can sort of figure out what's going on from watching what the actors are doing, right? (Assuming that the actors are good actors. They might not be. But let's assume they are.)
