(Anonymous) 2014-02-15 08:56 am (UTC)(link)I don't say this to be mean, but in my field it's expected to work overtime, especially if you're junior and I'm not talking about an hour or two :/ And of course the good job opportunities usually demand you move to another country...
Personally I barely have time to do the dishes atm, keeping my social/romantic life up is tough (and annoying) as shit and I'm genuinely considering giving both up so I can focus better and not feel obligated to be able to balance. The only reason I haven't already done it is because it's kind of a selfish and heartless thing to do.
