Re: Have you guys come back to a WIP after leaving it abandoned for 1+ years?

I've been working on finishing up a fic I let languish for nine years. I haven't gotten much feedback because I have the new chapters secreted away in a remote corner of the Internet, but that's because I'm only getting out a new chapter every six months or so. Once it's done, I'll be adding the new chapters to the more public copies of the fic still in existence.

As a reader? An author I like with a fic I love recently put up a post that she'd sent the next chapter off to her betas after an almost four year hiatus. It absolutely made my morning.

I know you're already going for it, but I echo everyone else! Go for it! :)
