The idea that Soundwave's cassettes are his children. I've yet to see fic with this fanon that is neither OOC nor creepy.

I also find it mildly annoying that Sam/Bumblebee is a thing in the Bayformers corner of fandom, but that's more because of my hatred of Shia LaBeouf than anything else.

Guy Gardner as a shallow, misogynist hothead. I'd be happy if Keith Giffen never wrote him again.

Misunderstood Starscream.
All animal!AUs.
Most things related to Sunstreaker and Sideswipe.

Humanizations, random OC love interests, doubly so if human, and mpreg. And inexplicably woobie emo Prowl and badly written Jazz's dialect.

Starscream fanfic clichés, OTOH, are my horrible, horrible guilty pleasure. Sometimes I even reread them and hate myself for it. That said, even I have limits.

Crappy OC's.

Prowl forgets all his ninja skills and cries as Lockdown rapes him in the bum.

Lockdown as a rapist period. What, he can't be clever and seduce people?

Sentinel is not incompetent at his job. He's a huge arsehole. Stop confusing the two.

Same about Optimus without the arsehole part.

Vapid and horridly written OC's as the author's mouthpiece. Double this if they are in some way related to a canon character.

I want to toss in something positive. A few years back, I read a series of fics which had a whole lot to do with disabled bots hiding their disabilities. Prowl was blind and (a very nonrapist)Lockdown had a different issue, I think he was deaf or somesuch. Gave them a lot of interesting depth. It's been ages and I'll be chuffed to bits if someone knows where to locate those stories. They were good. Thank you =D
