Sorry you were disappointed.

But I'd rather have no art than bad art with my fic. Sorry to all the artists out there if that puts you off.

As a reader, I'm so put off by bad manips/art on a fic that I have to put up my hand to cover them as I scroll down quickly. If bad art comes first in the scrolling I'll backclick on the fic even if it was recced as good. The art will have influenced my view so much I won't enjoy the writing.

Personally, I prefer art and fic to be posted separately and just linked to each other, unless the artist/writer worked specifially to make them mesh in an unusual way.

I hope you perhaps get art for some of your fics after you post them. That might still happen?
