Ouch! to the kitten dream. I don't know, maybe it's your subconscious mind expressing a fear that you can do harm without wanting to do it? Or sometimes it's just related to a news story or something you remember.

But, re: your fleeing from justice dream - that reminds me of the other very common thing in my dreams: Trying to [do something] and being thwarted all along the way. Trying to get somewhere, or get away, and there's obstacle after obstacle after obstacle. I never get where I'm going in my dreams. Never. Guess it's true that it's the journey, not the destination, that counts. :)
