4) Except Harry Potter and CLAMP actually have... you know... stories. And not filler arcs every 10 episodes. I can respect those who like it even if I don't, but c'mon. That's just unfair. :/

No, but what she did was basically the undersea equivalent of getting in the car with the bad man because he said he had candy. I had always been more on the "well if you had just obeyed your father this bad stuff would never have happened :|" crowd, even since I was younger.

Yeah, I know, I was a weird child.

I like to not put a real life equivalent into the mix with my fantasy and fairytale adventure. Makes it less fun and... fairytale-ish. So maybe that's why I never had a problem with her.

*sigh* The damn fillers are annoying, but the actual manga plot is good however HP has got to be the most over-rated thing ever, even if I did enjoy the books. The sheer size and batshit of the HP fandom is enough to put me off trying to be as active there as I am in the Naruto fandom.

And I'm sorry but none of the CLAMP stuff I read really interested me that much.

Well, regardless of aaalll of that. (I don't like HP that much aside from just enjoying the books.) The point was, you shouldn't compare stuff like that. I think Naruto is overrated, you think Harry Potter is overrated, and all the cool kids apparently think CLAMP is overrated.

So it's all a matter of likes and dislikes and I don't think it's very fair to compare them because all three are veeeery different. Ya know?

Yeah, I can see where CLAMP wouldn't interest you. Totally understandable, really. CLAMP is definitely not for everyone.

I'm not saying you have to like Naruto, but you do have to admit if the person who did that post originally hated it simply because it's 'too popular' if they're into HP that's a bit ironic right? I doubt Naruto will ever be as big as HP, even though it's still ongoing and HP is nearly finished, with the exception of the movies.

Yeah I get you about them being totally different though. I tried to get into Cardcaptor Sakura and Tsubasa but they just didn't interest me, whereas with Naruto it was love at first sight lol.

True. It wasn't fair to say you don't like anything 'cause it's popular. That's just silly IMHO. ^^; HP fandom scares me, anyway... Enjoy the books, but what the fandom has done to it makes me cry.

Haha, I know the feeling. Anime love at first sight, that is. Hey, whatever makes you happy. XD I may not like Naruto, but I can recongize that it's a good series with fun characters.
