I was thinking today, isn't checking your privilege a privilege? There are people with certain mental illness or disabilities, or even people in a coma, who can't do it.

I think the thing to keep in mind is that all of this stuff is relative and a product of the vagaries of situation and specific moment and historical context, not an absolute. So what you're pointing to is just an example, an extreme example of that.
