Crossover Relationships?

You know, where, like, Miss Marple is Sherlock Holmes's illegitimate daughter, or whatever. Something where a characters unnamed offscreen exboyfriend/sibling/parent/uncle is a character from another fandom.

Cheren is Ken Ichijouji and Uryuu Ishida's kid.

well now I have to know who Cheren & Ken Ichijouji are.

I already half-think Rei Ryugazaki from Free! is Uryuu & Ichigo's kid because he's an athletic nerd who has radicals from both their names in his last name.

Are you looking for recs or pet theories or our favorite crossover headcanons or what?

Theories, pet headcanons, fic recs, crazy ideas a fellow fan once told you about...whatever! :)

Nero Wolfe's father is Mycroft Holmes.

I once read a fic where David Starsky from Starsky & Hutch was the father of Blair Sandburg from The Sentinel.

Yeah...IDEK, except that there was a lot of fandom overlap due to the similar buddy cop genres -- a lot of older Sentinel fans were oldschool S&H fans, and the timelines do fit.

Captain Morgan Bateson from Star Trek TNG is the great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandson of Frasier Crane.

(Because they're both played by Kelsey Grammer and I'm lame like that.)

I had forgotten about that episode. Love it!

Dante from DMC/Leon from Resident Evil.

I and my bff are the only people who shipped this for a time, but since we started writing it and introducing it to other people I've seen it pop up around the internet more and more.

I like to think we started something.

Sue was doing it before us, actually. ...Sort of. They were in a relationship but could never fuck, because they were both "ukes" so while they could kiss and like each other it would have been like trying to ram two of the same ends of an adaptor together.

[personal profile] herpymcderp 2014-02-19 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
But in that sense she wasn't actually doing it. Whatever Sue was doing, it wasn't a relationship by the terms of her normal relationships.

I always thought it was just making a point about how the seme and uke roles worked in her universe.

No no no. They had sex by proxy by being raped by their respective semes - Remus and Wesker - at the same time.

I hope this makes sense it's been a while since I've thought about it. Ahiru(Princess Tutu) is the spiritual daughter of Madoka and Homura, unknowingly born into one of the dimensions the PMMM magical girl system didn't exist in when Madoka rewrote all the timelines where it did. I imagine There are a lot of other girls, and probably boys too, like her to in all kinds of dimensions their purpose is basically to spread hope. I honestly never really put much thought into it after Ahiru though.

Stephen Colbert (the persona) is actually the son of the Lecturer from Reefer Madness: The Musical. They are estranged due to a falling out; the father looks down on his son for committing the cardinal sin of guys in their game: actually believing the bullshit you peddle.

In another continuity, the MC from Cabaret is in fact the father of Kurt "Nightcrawler" Wagner. This one's self-unpacking, I assume.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Tony Stark is Lin Bei Fong's real father.
