hey folks... like wakfu? Heard of wakfu but never got to look into it?

For those that have seen the smugduck meme, this is the show it came from

Forget the japanese, the french know how to do a kids show.

For those that know nothing about it... have a trailer. This is a rare instance of the spin-off media doing better. Wakfu is a french mmorpg with mediocre gameplay but a really kickass mythos and world. As I said, the game is so so. The cartoon and the comics are awesome.

There's 12 hours left on the kickstarter for a western release. Thanks to a lot of people what love this show on 4chan and other places, we are doing good! Basically every stretch goal that was initially laid out has been met, including the one everybody said we would never reach. I'm not even pushing for you to get me some benefit now, I got everything I wanted. I'm just sharing the love while there's still time.

At this point, 40 Canadian bucks (slightly less in American) gets you: Every episode of season 1 and 2 in French and the newly dubbed English version (with English subtitles for the french if you hate filthy dubs) all 27 mini episodes, 4 OAV's, and a new episode. All in 1080p! If you had any interest in this thing, that's a pretty cheap way to get it!

Huh, last I heard about this was when I beta'd the game in English. At the time, at least, they'd really cocked up how the servers were done and the US ones were basically ghost towns and the rest weren't much better at the time. Dofus was [and probably still is] awesome though. /coolstorybro

Thanks for the link though! I've always really loved the world, and their style so this is something I'm definitely going to check out!
