Huh. I had never considered that there was anything supernatural about Stiles' mom. I just thought the illness was bad luck/genetics and the nogitsune was from the ritual. (By the way, it wasn't until Wolf Watch after that particular episode that I understood the door/ajar riddle. Feel so dumb.)

But you're right, now that Stiles has been more or less confirmed as having that brand of dementia...it either has to be a nogitsune thing that may well go away, or Scott has to turn him. Or he dies, I guess. I'm not sure what I think about any of those options.
