It's a Dresden Files quote, but the reason I love is because of a story: I have this on a button on my backpack. Explaining "exsanguinated" (bleeding to death) on public transit delicately is... a challenge... So I stopped trying and just said, "It means bleeding to death." Too bad I was reading a book about corpses, when he tried to change the subject.
