I think very young children are gross and I want them kept far, far away from me at all times.

I don't think they're gross, but I want nothing to do with them until they're at least four, at the absolute minimum.

I'm the opposite. I adore infants and looking after them, but pretty much anything past a year when they start getting needy in less than "food/clean/hold me" ways and I want nothing to do with them.

I always feel bad for not caring about my niece/nephews because they're at the ages where I just want nothing to do with them.

I feel the same way about all children except my nephew.

I feel the same way. I mean, I can put up with babies and little kids without a fuss when I have to, and I'm genuinely happy for my friends and family who have them, but I really don't enjoy being around little kids at all.

As long as you don't have kids (please say you don't already) or if you ever want them, adopt older kids (most people want to adopt babies, but older kids need homes too), that's cool.

Very young children are gross. I work with 2-3 year olds and I can't tell you the number of times I have been puked on, pooped on, peed on, bled on, spit on, sneezed on, drooled on, had snot wiped on me, etc. I love them anyway, but I can understand why others don't. (And I don't intend to have any of my own.)
