I hold a grudge against my early-blooming childhood best friend even though we haven't seen each other in years. She's a free-loading ass who thinks she's an angel and cannot possibly do anything wrong. I have literally never heard one word of modesty or self-deprecation from her. And it's not insecurity; I can tell you that. I think she's slightly insane.

Also, I think I'm a lot prettier than her. That is also not insecurity, I just never wanted to say it out loud because that's just mean and rude.

Uh, if you haven't seen her in years, then how in the world do you know she's still a "free-loading ass who thinks she's an angel and cannot possibly do anything wrong"? For someone who claims this is your childhood best friend, you sure don't speak well of her either.

Haven't seen her face to face in years. My sister and hers are still friends so I get updates now and then. She was always that way and from everything I hear, she's exactly the same as always.

We haven't been friends since our tweens, so I don't know why I can't say what I think of her now. I only figured out her nature in hindsight.

But why on earth do you care if you haven't seen her in years? It seems harmful to yourself to carry this grudge if you don't even interact with her at all.

Exactly. This is some pure middle school shit. Get a better hobby.

Seriously this. Also what the heck is up with all these "I'm prettier than ___" confessions? I feel trapped with a bunch of teenagers even though I'm sure most of FS is well into their twenties.

for REAL. I'm 23 and was under the impression (maybe I'm wrong?) that most people here were older than me (even if just by a couple years).
