That's like saying that a trans* or genderqueer person who is passing is actually +.

Not the same. A trans person will always carry the weight of being trans. I mean, if they date someone, sooner or later that person will know that they are trans (you can't hide that you spent X years of your life as the opposite gender), it's a big deal. Bisexuality, on the other hand, isn't. If you don't tell anyone that you are attracted to people of your same sex, no one will know it.

Though past relationships can be significant. But I agree it's not equivalent.

That is largely dependent on how far along a person is in their transition, and it also doesn't account for genderqueer people.

Let me give an example. I know someone who is trans* but who has not yet undergone any therapy or surgery. She is also genderqueer and a lesbian. So, right now, she completely passes as a straight male. The fact that the subject of her gender identity will come in the context of a relationship does not change the fact that she experiences a certain amount of privilege in her day-to-day life that other groups do not experience.

That privilege is, of course, an illusion. She only has it as long as she keeps her identity secret. The same is true, to a certain extent, of bisexual people. If you have to keep some aspect of yourself under wraps to avoid scorn, then that's indicative of a lack of privilege.

This is a good point.

Hmm, yes.
