It's a forum (that is also not 4chan). But advice to GTFO is smart. I should, but for some reason I can't.

I left one recently that I'd been regular for years and it's hard.

GTFOing is probably the best option here.

If you decided to, my advice is to keyboard smashed a new password, copypast it, changed your email, and then logged out, so there's no possible way for you log out. Don't make an I'm leaving post or whatever either, if you want people there to contact you leave either a link where you can be contacted on your profile or PM the people you like enough.
