Re: Non-fandom confessions gooooo
(Anonymous) 2014-02-20 03:07 am (UTC)(link)I've gotten a little better about it, only a little. I've resorted to chlorine/chloramine filters and hair thickening shampoo/conditioners that don't contain sulfates. (And before you ask, yes, I've done every damn treatment under the sun: baking soda/vinegar, tea tree shampoo, just conditioner, gentle soap, ezcema product, lemon grass shampoo, Nioxin treatment, to just not using any product at all and waiting to see if there was a change. Basically everything except for Rogaine, which I NEVER want to use due to its nature of working when you use it, and then your hair getting thin again when you stop.) It works for a while, but if the schedule of every two days gets altered by even a little bit, I'm back to square one.
I'm fucking frustrated and wish I could see a dermatologist but my insurance is shit and I'm not sure if they could help or just prescribe something that exacerbates a problem initially born out of my own stupidity.
