Yeah, I missed time limit on the NaNo code. When I try to open things now it just pops up a dialog box saying my trial has expired and I should go by the program. I wasn't aware that I could open Scrivener files with other programs, though.

When using Scrivener, you can export things to other formats that you can use to open in another program. Not sure if you can open the raw data files to retrieve your works now that the trial is over (maybe poke through the program files and see if you find anything?).

I never got into Scrinever. Evernote + GoogleDocs/Dropbox all the way, everything handled locally but stored online, and all for free, no worries about trial dates, so you can totally take off a few months or years, as I practically did from fanfic without losing your stuff. :)
