They will pry my 4kg bag of Lucky Dragon* basmati rice out of my cold, dead, hands, I tell you what.



*this may or may not be the name on the bag as it's sitting in my freezer and I don't recall what brand it actually is at the mo'

The same sentiment to my recently bought (as in, bought today) 5kg bag of Sunrice Medium grain. I grew up with rice a regular feature of my diet. Sure, I didn't have it as a staple served at every meal (I'm Australian, and very British in ancestry), but I love rice and have it at least once a week.

And no butthurt Asian-descended person throwing around their "OMG! Rice is an Asian staple!" offendedness is going to stop me from eating rice.

And I'll cook it in a rice cooker if I want to!
