Because they sell out immediately whenever they arrive at a store, probably. There are currently three limited edition Oreos out - cookie dough, rice krispy treat, and lemon - and the only one I've ever actually seen is the rice krispy treat kind. Which are apparently pretty good also, but the cookie dough sounded REALLY good... and everyone I know who's tried the lemon says they're UNBELIEVABLE.

So yeah, the only reason I know of the existence of those two is that someone I know on FB took a picture of some (at a store we don't have locally) and was like "uhhhhhh darnit I'm on a diet" and I went "Uhhhhh my diet is designed to try to GAIN weight so WHERE WAS THIS?" and had been looking for them ever since. XD

The lemon sounds really good. You are a lucky, lucky person. You should post pictures of yourself to FB as you eat them, so that all might see how tasty they are.

I was thinking I might, and tag my sister-in-law in the pics as thanks. XD Sadly she has had the lemon but I haven't - they were released while she was on a trip with friends, and the friends bought a package while they were still not sold out and shared. They haven't come back in stock in her store yet. I suspect they're a lot like the Oreo-esque lemon sandwich cookies I've had in my local store brand though, and THOSE were very good, especially with some buttercream frosting...

The lemon are awesome. I saw them once and bought them, never saw them again.
