That's true. I may be being too charitable towards OP and not enough toward you. It's just that the way I interpreted this whole thing is the way I've seen it go down most often. Of course I'm actually interested in these kinds of discussions so I would have seen more reasonable ones than you.

*facepalm* Do you even know how that book is hated by SO MANY ASIAN-AMERICAN WOMEN because white guys try to chat them up by talking about the book to them? The fact that it is written by a white man, showing an ugly level of fetishisation of Asian women, and it's given even more permission for white men to fetishise Asian women they meet. You just love being ignorant because you think social justice is mostly paranoia, don't you?
